What is Corestone Quartz?
Corestone Quartz worktops are fabricated from natural quartz, one of the hardest minerals found in the Earth, mixed with tough polymer resin and cured under pressure, to form a hard, durable work surface that is impervious to bacteria and highly stain resistant.
It is composed of up to 93% quartz with the rest being the resin and, in some patterns, the “sparkly” bits which are usually recycled glass mirrors or metallic flecks. Aside from the durability that quartz provides, this material is beautiful and its wide variety of colour options offer flexibility in your kitchen colour coordination.
Why is Corestone Quartz a great choice for your kitchen?
Low Maintenance. Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary
No Staining in Normal Use.Though naturally all spills should be cleaned reasonably quickly. Corestone have tested common kitchen stains like Beetroot, Turmeric, Ketchup, Red Wine, Ink, Coffee and Tea and cleaned them 24 hours later with no problem.
No Knife/Utensil Marks. Will Not Scratch Easily.
Heat Resistance. We do recommend the use of a trivet for very hot pans and roasting trays.
Non-Porous and Smooth. Helps to keep it bacteria and stain free.
High Impact Resistance. Rare cases of damage such as chips after dropping heavy objects on it can be repaired.
Cleaner Joints and Upstands. Visually much nicer and easier to clean.
Wide Range of Styles.
Full repairing warranty. Covers stone and labour for 10 years from date of install against defect of the material.
